Network of Caring
REM Mississippi is a partner of The MENTOR Network, a national network of local human services providers. The Network has four decades of experience improving quality of life for individuals with a wide array of challenges, including:
- Intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Brain and spinal cord injuries and other catastrophic injuries and illnesses
- Youth with emotional, behavioral and medically complex challenges
The Network’s roots go back to 1980, with our Therapeutic Foster Care program for children and adolescents, which was later adapted for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our Host Home program. Since then, The Network has been at the forefront of the effort to move individuals out into their communities, providing an array of community-based services tailored to each person’s unique needs.
As a partner of The MENTOR Network, REM Mississippi offers the benefits of a strong national structure coupled with specialized programs and localized services. With access to a national network of experienced professionals, shared clinical best practices, innovative resources and a comprehensive Quality Improvement program, we offer high-quality, person-centered services designed to help each individual reach their full potential.
